ORIGINAL Vintage 80s Tamiya Subaru Brat COMPLETE. Frog/Lancia Remote Control Car

Owned by me from the mid 80s. Complete car, including servos (27.095am), original motor etc. Had lots of enjoyable use when I was younger. A couple of cracks on the body (see photos) and holes in the headlights where I decided it was a good idea to put a couple of torch bulbs (to be powered by a 9V battery)!

I found it in the loft a few months ago and decided I would restore it. I bought a new battery and charger (included) and although the axle rotated when I fired it up, it made a slight grinding sound and hardly turned. I wondered if it needed new bearings.

I really had no idea so didn't get around to continuing the restoration. Most of the tyres have perished but despite not working and having some cracks on the body it has actually been very well cared for.

I'll be very sad to see it go but would love another enthusiast to breathe new life into it. Will pack extremely carefully with adequate protection. Please see my other listings. Comes from a smoke-free home.
